Measured, made and installed
We measure the existing kitchen, make the new cabinetry in our workshop, then remove the old kitchen and install the new one in the agreed order. Plumbing and electrical stages are coordinated with appropriately licensed trades where the renovation needs them.

How long does a kitchen renovation take?
A typical full kitchen renovation takes about 10–14 weeks from the first measure to handover. Most of that is design and making the cabinetry in our workshop; you are usually without a working kitchen for about 2–4 weeks while the old kitchen comes out, the new one goes in and the benchtops and splashback are fitted. Your quote includes a schedule for your kitchen.
How much does a kitchen renovation cost in Sydney?
As a planning guide, a smaller replacement with limited layout changes typically costs around $25,000–$35,000, a more involved renovation with upgraded cabinetry and finishes $35,000–$60,000, and complex, high-specification work $60,000–$100,000 or more. The cabinetry runs, benchtop and splashback materials, appliances, access and any plumbing, electrical or wall changes decide the figure for your room, and the written quote follows a measure and agreed selections.
Who removes the old kitchen and installs the new one?
A typical H&R renovation can include removal of the old kitchen, delivery and installation of the new cabinetry, and sequencing around the required licensed work. The written quote confirms exactly what is included for your room before work begins.
Do I need to arrange a plumber and electrician?
H&R Kitchens can coordinate the cabinetry and installation with the plumber and electrician working on your project. Tell us which trades you already have when you enquire so the quote can clearly set out responsibilities and timing.
Can you renovate a kitchen without changing the layout?
Yes. If the existing layout works, we can replace the cabinetry, benchtops and splashbacks while keeping the plumbing and appliances roughly where they are. It is a faster, lower-cost path to a new kitchen.
