Kitchen renovations
We start with how the room is used, what needs to change and the practical access for the property.
The Eastern Suburbs brings several very different renovation settings into one region. Apartments in the junction and coastal centres can mean strata approval, lift bookings and protected common areas. Terraces and semis often need storage to work much harder within a narrow room, while larger detached homes closer to the harbour may call for a larger island, integrated appliances and a butler's pantry or scullery planned with the main kitchen.
Compact kitchens benefit from full-height storage, deep drawers and appliance positions that preserve the main preparation run. Delivery access, working hours and waste movement are confirmed with the building before installation is scheduled.
Narrow rooms need disciplined proportions. Galley layouts, one-wall kitchens and carefully sized islands can improve storage without blocking the route between the front and rear of the home.
Larger renovations often connect the kitchen to dining or living areas. Cabinet heights, island scale, appliance integration and sightlines from the living area are planned together so the room reads as one interior.
How it works
We measure on site, then settle the layout, storage, surfaces and appliances with you. Usually about 2–6 weeks.
Your cabinetry is made to the confirmed measurements before the old kitchen comes out. Usually about 4–8 weeks.
We remove the old kitchen and install the new cabinetry, with the plumbing and electrical work sequenced around it. Usually about a week on site.
Stone and porcelain benchtops are templated once the cabinets are fixed, then the splashback and final adjustments follow. Usually about 1–2 weeks.

Yes. The design and cabinetry can be planned for compact apartments, but the building's strata process, access rules, working hours and service requirements need to be confirmed before installation dates are set.
We start with full-height and drawer storage, then protect the main circulation route. A galley or one-wall layout can often provide more usable storage than an oversized island in a narrow room.
No. The requirements depend on the property and the work. Straightforward internal cabinetry replacement may be different from structural changes, heritage work or alterations affecting strata common property, so check the proposed work first.
As a planning guide, a smaller replacement with limited layout changes typically costs around $25,000–$35,000, a more involved renovation with upgraded cabinetry and finishes $35,000–$60,000, and complex, high-specification work $60,000–$100,000 or more. The layout, the amount of cabinetry, the benchtop and splashback materials, appliances and any plumbing or electrical changes make the difference. Your written quote is based on your measured room.
A typical full kitchen renovation takes about 10–14 weeks from the first measure to handover. Most of that is design and making the cabinetry in our workshop; you are usually without a working kitchen for about 2–4 weeks while the old kitchen comes out, the new one goes in and the benchtops and splashback are fitted. Your quote includes a schedule for your kitchen.
Yes. Most strata schemes need the renovation approved first, particularly where plumbing, waterproofing or common property is affected. We plan the delivery, lift bookings, protection and working hours around the building's rules.
