Before you enquire

Kitchen splashback questions in the Inner West.

Can the splashback be matched to the benchtop?

Yes. A stone or porcelain splashback can be cut from the same material as the benchtop, or we can suggest glass and tile colours that sit well with it.

How long does it take to install a kitchen splashback?

Most splashbacks are measured up first, then made and fitted in one short visit once the panel or tile is ready. Glass and stone usually need a fabrication lead time after the measure, while a replacement splashback in an existing kitchen is generally a quick install. We confirm timing once the material is chosen.

What is the best splashback material for a kitchen?

It depends on the look and how much cleaning you want to do. Glass and stone wipe clean in one pass with no grout lines and suit a sleek, continuous look, while tile gives you more colour and pattern. We help you weigh finish, clean-ability and budget at the measure.

Can I replace just the splashback without redoing the whole kitchen?

Yes. A replacement splashback can be planned on its own, including the old-surface, measurement, material and fitting requirements. It is a focused way to refresh a kitchen while coordinating the wall with the benchtop and cabinetry colours.

Are glass splashbacks better than tiles?

Neither is simply better; they suit different kitchens. Glass gives a smooth, grout-free wall in any colour and can be backlit, which makes it very easy to wipe down behind the cooktop. Tile offers more texture and pattern. We match the choice to your benchtop, cabinetry and how the kitchen is used.
