Vanities
Bathroom Vanities Sydney
A vanity carries the morning routine and the room's whole look, so it should hold your storage easily and shrug off the steam — and we plan, build and fit it so it does both for years.
The vanity does the daily work in a bathroom, so it has to handle moisture and earn its storage. H&R Kitchens makes custom bathroom vanities for homes across Sydney, bringing vanity cabinetry, basin and benchtop coordination, drawers and mirror storage into one considered piece — wall-hung or floor-standing, in finishes chosen to live with steam and splashes, all designed, built and fitted in-house.

Planned around the basin and the plumbing
A vanity has to sit cleanly over the waste and supply lines while still giving you usable drawers, so we plan it around the basin position and the pipework first. We measure the room, settle wall-hung or floor-standing, and work the drawer boxes around the plumbing — so you get real storage, not a cabinet that's mostly pipe.
- 02
Vanity cabinetry, made to measure
Custom vanity joinery fills the wall properly where an off-the-shelf unit leaves gaps and fillers. Made-to-measure cabinets suit the exact width and height of your bathroom, fit a single or double basin neatly, and carry drawers right up to the wall — with the basin, benchtop and any mirror cabinet drawn as one piece rather than parts that nearly match.
- 03
Materials and finishes
Bathrooms are wet rooms, so we build vanities in materials that cope: moisture-resistant board, sealed and edged finishes, and natural-stone or porcelain benchtops that wipe clean around the basin. Doors and drawers come in shaker, flat-panel or handleless profiles, paired with soft-close runners and brushed-nickel or matt-black handles, so the vanity reads as one considered palette with the rest of the room.
- 04
What shapes the cost of a bathroom vanity
The main cost drivers are the width of the vanity and whether it's single or double basin, wall-hung or floor-standing, the door style and finish, the benchtop material (laminate, natural stone or porcelain), the basin and tapware you specify, and whether a matching mirror cabinet or extra storage is included. We talk these trade-offs through early so your quote matches the vanity you actually want.

Good to know
Bathroom Vanities questions
The questions we hear most often, kept close to the service so the brief, scope and next step stay clear before you get in touch.
How long does a custom bathroom vanity take?
Once it's designed and built, fitting a vanity is usually a short job on site, with the design and build lead time beforehand. The timeline depends on the size, the benchtop material and whether a mirror cabinet or extra storage is part of the work. You get a realistic schedule with your quote.
Is a wall-hung or floor-standing vanity better?
Wall-hung vanities make a small bathroom feel more open and the floor easier to clean under; floor-standing units give you more storage and a more solid look. We help you weigh the room size, your storage needs and the plumbing height before deciding.
What benchtop is best for a bathroom vanity?
Porcelain and natural stone are a durable, easy-to-wipe choice for a vanity and come in many looks; natural stone suits a higher-end finish; laminate keeps the budget down. We match the benchtop to your basin choice and how the bathroom is used.
Can a vanity be made to fit an awkward bathroom?
Yes. Custom vanity joinery is exactly the answer when standard cabinet sizes don't suit the wall width, the basin or waste position, or the storage you need. We measure the space and build the vanity to fit it.
Do you make a matching mirror cabinet and bathroom storage?
Yes. A mirror cabinet, tallboy or matching wall storage can be drawn and built alongside the vanity so the finishes and hardware line up across the room, rather than buying separate pieces that nearly match.

Client feedback
Homeowners on working with H&R Kitchens.
We're really happy with the quality of the cabinetry and the attention to detail. A few tricky corners in our kitchen were handled really well, and the final result looks clean, solid, and professionally finished. It's made a huge difference to how we use the space.
From the first measure-up to the final install, the team were easy to deal with and very clear about what was happening. They gave helpful advice without pushing us into anything, and the kitchen turned out better than we had pictured.
Our old kitchen was awkward and didn't have enough storage. H&R Kitchens came up with a layout that made much better use of the space, and the workmanship is excellent. Everything feels sturdy, well fitted, and built to last.
