The brief here was order: a walk-in wardrobe drawn around how the room is actually used, rather than a single run of rail and shelf. We mapped the footprint first, then set out zones for what hangs, what folds and what gets put on show.
The interior reads as one considered fit-out. Full-length hanging takes the longer garments. Fitted drawers hold the everyday folded pieces, and open shelving keeps shoes and accessories within easy reach. A run of display cabinetry gives the better pieces somewhere to sit, and because the joinery is made to measure, the layout runs tight to the walls with no awkward gaps left over.
It suits the way a Sydney home gets lived in, with busy mornings and wardrobes that need to be found fast. Every part is designed, built and installed in-house by our own team, so the finish, the drawer action and the shelf heights all match the way they were drawn.
