How long does a built-in wardrobe take?
Installing a wardrobe usually takes a day or two on site. Before that come the design, the measure and making the cabinetry in our workshop. A walk-in fit-out or a detailed interior takes longer to make than a single built-in robe, and the quote sets out the timing for your room.
What is included in a built-in wardrobe?
A built-in wardrobe can include cabinetry, robe doors and a fitted interior with hanging zones, shelving, drawers and shoe storage. The same materials and details can also carry through to linen cupboards and other storage in the home.
What is the difference between a built-in and a walk-in wardrobe?
A built-in wardrobe sits flush against a bedroom wall behind doors, while a walk-in is a room you step into with open or part-open shelving and hanging. The interiors are similar; the walk-in just needs the floor space. We can advise which suits your room when you enquire.
Can you fit out an existing wardrobe or walk-in robe?
Yes. If the existing robe is sound, a new fitted interior with hanging, shelving, drawers and shoe storage may be possible without rebuilding the whole wardrobe. The measure confirms what suits the space.
